Senior Operations Manager - Ecommerce (FT Remote Role)

As our Operations Manager, you will ensure our silky-smooth operations. Your mission: to enhance company performance, build on our team and customer satisfaction levels, and set us up to continue our strong growth globally. You will add further A-player talent to our already strong team, build upon our existing systems & processes and ensure we’re poised to continue to deliver 4.9-5 star customer experiences. This role is primarily remote (work from home); however, you will need to be based in Sydney and some physical presence in Sydney will be required from time to time.
What we need your help with
Here are some of the responsibilities you will handle:
- Smooth Day-to-Day Operations: Ensure the company operates in a calm and organised manner with minimal urgent tasks, allowing the team to focus on primarily important but non-urgent tasks. Put out fires and implement solutions to prevent them. Identify areas for improvement, prioritise, and implement constant improvements. Manage resources effectively.
- Quality Control: Implement a system for quality control across key areas to minimise rework.
- Human Resources & Team Management: Source, hire, train, manage, and lead the operations team.
- Customer Experience: Maintain a customer-centric focus, improving customer experience and fixing systems based on feedback.
- Inventory & Warehouse Management: Make sure everything is smooth sailing at our warehouses, ensure inventory is accurate and we’re set up for our fast order turnaround.
- Process Management & Documentation: Our whole team maintains our processes and information in Notion, you’ll manage this to ensure it’s set up for success.
- Financial, Compliance & Risk: Ensure our fraud rates remain low, ensure compliance, manage risks pro-actively.
About you…
- 5+ years experience as an Operations Manager: Experience in retail is a must, e-commerce is a bonus.

- Technical Proficiency: We’re IT first, we aim to solve our problems with IT systems where possible and we embrace AI and new tech to improve our operations. Some of the tools we use are: Shopify, Stocky, Slack, Notion, Gsuite, 3PL portals, Excel, ChatGPT, and Loom (some of these can be learnt on the job).
